It seems that they really succeeded this time. The examples look great. I hope that it will soon be available in SX70 Format.

I've shot 1.5 packs through my SX70 now, thanks to their beta program. It's very contrasty compared to the older emulsions (I have mostly used Silver Shade UV+ era IP films and expired Pola materials) but the fast development is fantastic to see. Visible image within ~2 mins, "finished" in a couple more after that with minor changes and deepening blacks 5-10 mins total since exposure. Haven't noticed much change after that.

Not requiring a light shield is another big step of progress for them. I now feel comfortable recommending that (regular, non-photographers) try their films. The previous stuff was so finicky/particular about no light exposure I couldn't really do that but now it's trivial even on a bright sunny day.

The last pack of beta will be going in my Speed Graphic for some fast aperture fun.

Now that the FP100-type films are not available in B&W, i would love them to make film in such format.

The pictures look nice, i really would like to try it !

Stick it into a normal 4x5 film holder, little tape on the edges if it doesn't want to lay flat. You can mark the GG for the format. Load the 8 shots into 4 double dark slides all at once, then shoot them all, then slide them back into another pack (the only truly fussy part) with a known good battery. Then stick the pack into whatever camera you want to use for developing, and block the lens and shield the film (if it requires it) from light upon ejection.

Breaking apart the packs without bursting the pods is not as big of an issue as I originally thought it would be, I still haven't popped one.

You can do the same thing with Instax film...that's a lot of fun to shoot in 4x5 because it's quite fast so with a fast lens you're in safely in handheld territory.

These frames are with the Speed and a Bausch & Lomb 210/4.5 Tessar 1c wide open with S&V lights, Silver Shade original or the UV+, I forget which now, first pack I tried it with. Some trial and error with framing (before I marked the GG).

EDIT: This is some of their old film, that was expired when I got it on a Black Friday sale as experimental stock so excuse the uneven development and lack of full frame coverage. I increased contrast a bit (more on the last couple shots) so the new stuff will (and does) look much better. I see no variability across the frame in development and the edge defects are significantly reduced.

I've emailed them to inquire. I have a 8x10" processor and some old Polaroid 8x10" film.
So a new stash would be nice.
