New Adobe CC Software Will Require Current OS

You won't find many professionals worrying about Adobe prices ... Adobe tools are more important to their businesses than are their investments in one brand or another of cameras....

Yeeah; They got us coming and going.

I understand where you are coming from. I still use Word/Excel from Office 2003 because they do everything I need. I am not a power user. It is the same with image software. For some, LR5/PS5 is sufficient.
I still use Office 2003 suite simply because, in trying to use Office 2007, the user interface was changed so much it was very painful to try to use! A number of acquaintances had run into the same problem.

What Adobe does in terms of subscription pricing works fine for a professional user who derives income from what they do with it.
But then again a lot of Adobe Lightroom users are amateurs or hobbyists who derives zero income for $120 annual expense in perpetuity.

I use Office 2008 on my Mac. When I upgraded to a new Mac, TimeMachine brought it along. For my laptop PC I use OpenOffice. I do not believe in renting software.
