I fully agree with your statement however compared to a V700, I get better scans of B&W 35mm & medium format negs from my Canon 5DSR+70mm macro lens. It is easy and fast but for a top notch scan,a high end pro scanner is the only option....

Sounds like Nikon is providing the negative conversion in camera. That's a very nice value-add if it works well.

Try those links. They save loads and loads of time.

I guess I have to build some sort of track for my carrier.
