These contact printing frame are made of hard rock maple with oak pinned bridle joint corner construction. The pressure plate is made from 1/2 inch birch ply with a felt covering. The frame is covered in 3 coats of clear satin polyurethane. It is a very robust frame and should last a lifetime of printing. Perfect for contact printing silver gelatin or any of the myriad of alternative photography processes like gum, cyanotype, van Dyke, platinum/palladium etc.
The 16x20 max image size is approximately 17 1/2 inches by 22 13/16 inches. The overall size is 20 X 25 1/4 X 1 1/2 inches.

The 9x12 max image area is 9 3/4 X 12 5/8 inches. The overall size is 12X15X1 1/2 inches.
