Never heard of this Nikon lens before

I have seen one in use where two images were made at 180 degrees to each other and the resultant trannies scanned and loaded into a very early computer look-all-around programme - Long before the auto-pan-for-digicams-motorised-thing came along

Now I think it is redundant and the front elephant is used for a garden bird bath
