In the 1920s, there was an American family who could afford a lot of 16mm film.

They have made many recordings during trips through Europe and America, including in the Netherlands.

From that collection I have acquired the original 16mm recordings in the Netherlands.

With the following index:

Holland
The Hague.
Scheveningen.
The Peace Palace.
Hotel Des Indes.
Zuider Zee.
Island of Marken.
Voledam.
Dairy and Cheese Farm Amsterdam.

This is going to be something special when put on YouTube.
Regards

But you will air it anyway by your scanning process. Or put it on a re-roller and roll it several times. Or put the film in loose loops on a table for some time.

Don't know about any of that....

It can still be projected, so scanning it with a Müller HDS+ wont be a problem. It can handle much, much worse.

Keep us informed on your results. Though that seem to be quite common locations, filmed repeatedly.

Unfortunately due to the covid-19 stuff a proper scan of the film has been delayed.

I made a quick and dirty video of the projected film with my DSLR.

Will be posting short samples of these.

A dog-cart was popular, especially for deliveries, in parts of Europe.
No idea whether such was popular in America too.

Towing is one thing, carrying another. So the load had to be well balanced.
