Hi,

I just bought this 13x18 cm back to put on my 18x24 cm camera:

So the only things missing until I can enlarge stuff with my new Durst 138 are some film holders and film.

After searching the archive, I know 13x18 cm film holders are supposed to have the same external dimensions as 5x7. So I can buy just about any ordinary film holder either 5x7 or 13x18? Or are there any other differences among film holders?

You can use 5x7" holders, 13x18cm holders, or even half-plate holders. Just avoid old wooden holders with wooden darkslides - those tend to be plate holders which most likely won't fit your camera.

BUT: You have to use the same size film as the holder is for, or it either won't fit or it will drop out and fall into the bellows when you pull the darkslide.

Yeah, I wanted that badly, so I sniped it. But there was two of them, so blame the other guy

The other one wouldn't have been so easy to adapt to my old plate camera, so I only bid on the one.
