The following three negative holders are all designed to fit precisely into an enlarger that seems to be designed for a 2 ½ x 3 ½ inch images – based on internal dimensions of the enlarger and bellows assemblies.
Image negholder01is for a 60mm x 85mm image and has glass only on the upper side –there does not seem to be any attachments on the lower side to allow a glass to be fixed – Any ideas?
Image negholder02 has a rectangle 65mm x 91mm and the framing would allow an object 3 ½ x 4 ½ inches to be fitted. Sorry about the mixture of imperial and metric dimensions – but that gives the most accurate values. I’m assuming this is for plate images but ????
Image negholder03 is similar to “02”, but the rectangle is 70mm x 95mm and the framing indicates a meximum object size of 75mm x 100mm. Again I’m assuming this is for plate images but ????
As far as I can tell, the three negative holders, do not match any ‘standard ‘size.
All ideas welcome
