I just picked up a Horseman 6x12 rollfilm adaptor I'm using on my Shen Hao.
The 2 rolls I've shot so far look great. What I'm wondering next is how to enlarge these negs.
For my Widelux, I've taken a regular 35mm metal neg carrier, and used a plasma torch to cut a precise opening. I sanded and filed it smooth, and it works great.
Can this work for 120 negs? I'm wondering if anyone has experience doing this, or if anyone has done something different to print up this wonderful panoramic size.
I made a temporary card holder for my 6x17 negs, it worked extremely well, but when I set up a new darkroom I'll make a decent holder from Aluminium as its easy to work with.
Thanks, all. Inayat, for myself and the benefit of anyone reading, does Steve Grimes run a business for this sort of thing? Website, etc? That route sounds ideal, especially as I have a few 6x6 holders around right now.
Steve Grimes passed away a while back, but his business is still running. I have not used them, but have some of the results of their work. I agree with many others that say their work is top-notch. It has been suggested that it is a bit dear, so you may want to try other options.
Buy a 4x5 glass carrier. You can use it with all of your negs.
I have a Saunders 4550XLG enlarger and use ONE 4x5 glass carrier for all of my negs, from my XPAN negs, 6x6 and 4x5. Makes everything clean and very very flat.

Indeed, if you have a 5x4 enlarger go with a double glass carrier (ANR top glass). Again if the enlarger has negative masking blades it's not a problem masking down.
