I have a Minolta Colour Enlarger 2

It seems like quite a reasonable piece of kit, apart from the neg carrier -

I have one which has to do for both 35mm and 6x6. It has glass on one side. The glass has a small scratch on it which does show sometimes on the prints - you can just about get away with it, but not ideal at all.

For 35mm I have this crappy mask that doesn't really fit in the 6x6 hole - it basically works, but not all that well.

So the question is: does anyone know if by some chance I could get hold of a new carrier for 35mm, and a new glass of the current carrier? (the glass is clamped in and can easily be removed)

Thanks for any help,

Matt

I don't know about your enlarger model specifically, but you could look in your phone book for glass shops. I'm sure they'd be able to cut something to fit for a reasonable price. OTOH, if you need anti-Newton glass, a local glass shop might not stock it. You might try something similar for the 35mm mask, but the precision sizing and spacing on that might be a bit trickier to get done right.

There is a place near me, Focal Point, that has gotten good reviews from buyers on the LF sites I visit. Their web site is listed below.

I have not used them personaly though, so make your own judgement.
