-) Why do they need to be thumbscrews? Small Allen screws should do well too.
(If you do not want to use an Allen key, you might try filing ridges into the heads.)
-) there are thumb knobs to be installed on sink-head screws, turning them into thumbscrews
-) thumb screws are available off the shelve at few shops specialized in rare screws (post #2)
-) any machine shop doing single part jobs can easily turn you a thumb screw

The size of the Horseman thread for sure some Apugger can tell you.

The camera uses interchangeable lenses so it would be easier to use screws that don't require a tool. They actually need to be captive screws - preferably with a knob. I did a rough measurement and it looks like the diameter is 3mm - but it would be nice to have someone confirm the actual size.

So you already got apt screws and just want a second set-of-four to install on a further lens.

The special thing with those lensboard screws seems that at the screws the thread is not going to the head and that the lens-board is threaded too, by that keeping the loose screws from falling out.

This of course complicates the matter !!
In case of buying thumbscrews off the shelf you would need to grind off the thread near the head.

Yes, I have several lenses - all with screws. But one lens is missing all 4 screws. Since they are captive screws they don't fall off the lensboard when I take the lens off the camera. I could take out the screws completely each time but it's not very ideal.
