Does anyone know where to find fluorescent tubes for jessops lightbox.

I have a JESSOPS LIGHTBOX 8"X10". the instructions say that the recommended tubes are the following:

Philips - TL 8W/950 or Toki F8T5D-EDL-56K

I have looked on amazon and on google, but I cannot find either part to buy.

Over here Philips does not list this lamp, nor does Osram.

I had to replace small fluorescents in a bathroom vanity mirror last year, same sized tubes they were available, However there were out of tolerance just a fraction too long. I replaced the fittings to use the newer LED tubes. Not far off the same price.

Ian, you most likely did not find easily available 8Watts TLs in the 900-series. Let alone more specific 950 or 960.

It seems Philips cancelled all series 900 TL tubes and Osram only offer them only from 24W onwards as T5 (more as T8)

I don't have the specifications of the tubes I bought, I took them back and got a refund but they were the thin tubes and unbranded. The OP could try CEF here in the UK or RS Components.

As fluorescents are being slowly withdrawn in the UK/EU it made more sense to install 2 LED strip lamps, it was a simple to do.

Seen the range Osram still offers, it does not look like a general withdrawal at the moment.

And at least for the 900 series there are no substitutes yet.

Looks like replacement are available but for the price I would rather look at a new LED lightbox.

There are meanwhile LED tubes with a CRI of 95. But to my knowledge only in size T8.

(If colour rendition would be an issue anyway.)

How do you install 2 led strip lamps?
