Hey guys,

I have suckage with the Nuarc, which is good, but I am getting no lamp. Started looking though the pieces and noticed that on the LC 13 starter board there was a blackened vacuum tube that looked questionable. I fiddled with the fuses, etc, press power and pop! There it goes. I was wondering if anyone can help identify the component? It looks like a really easy solder.

Here's a pic of it still connected to the power board:

Ah, I was wondering if that's what it stood for. Just needed some confirmation...I wonder if it's even necessary... or even, could I replace it with an LED then?

Lol, and the fuses were wrong. I don't think 20a 32v fuses will work in a 20a 250v or a 5 a 250v slo blow. Lordy.

Do you have an operations manual for the NUARC. When I got mine the fuse connections were all screwed up and I adjusted them to reflect what was shown in the manual and it has worked perfectly since then. No more blown fuses. Also, have you tried calling NUARC? In my experience their service department was very helpful. Bill Barber

I haven't tried calling them directly yet, but it's good to know that they have good customer service. At this point, I am somewhat rebuilding the device from square one. I got the pump running fine, it sucks. I then tried firing up the lamp, wherein I plugged in the 50.00 on the screen, hit the S and heard a click, but no arc, nada at the bulb. So I began poking around, realized the fuses were wrong, then noticed the blown neon light (all the aforementioned items are now ordered). So after that, I guess I need to verify my lamp itself?
