Hi friends,

I am about to start developing on my own for the first time. The following films in 120 will be developed in HC 110 :-

1. Acros 100
2. Agfa APX 25
3. Ilford Delta 100
4. Ilford Pan 50.

Since I am abosultely new, I was looking for an advice as a starting guideline while i start developing the above films in HC 110.

Which dilution to use, agitation details for each and development times?

Most of the films are landscapes and I am looking for a low contrast , midtomed negetive as I would work in a scanner and hence do not want much of contrasty negatives.

Can you guys please help me with the information?

You should find everything there: http://www.digitaltruth.com/devchart.php
Often I find their times on the low side, which is OK given your stated goal.
Since this will be your first development with any of the listed film/dev combinations, and your first development ever, start with a test on a not-so-important roll.
Good starting choice with HC-110; stick with that even if other members start to chime in with their own pet developer (Rodinal, Pyrocat, etc...) But I woud advise you to use dilution B; my feeling is that dilution H has a compensating effect that kills the highlights. Unless you happen to like that kind of look; to each his own. Time for dil.H is 2x time for dil.B, and vice versa.

Moderators: it seems to have escaped you that the OP used the S word. Take action! And teasing aside, you should realize that the worth of this (and any) forum is also people like me sharing information with people like the OP.
