Need help assembling a Saunders/LPL 670 XL Enlarger

I'm stuck trying to put together my enlarger from college and can't find any manual online. Does anyone know where can I find one online?

I have a 670, not sure if it's an XL. never had the manual for it but I can take some photos if that would help you.

Hi Dan,

Thanks for offer. Basically I can't figure out how to install the golden color roller on the stand. I would appreciate a detailed pic of the back of the enlarger.

I'll get a photo tonight. That roller is a spring. It should attach near the top of the column. It helps keep the head from crashing down when it's not locked.

looks like the spring bracket hooks onto the top rear of the column and then a screw secures it in place.

The assembly of the column and head is the same (and quite simple). See attached image.

I have this enlarger, and it came with the C7700 manual in the box. I assembled it with that same manual as well, so they are basically very very similar. I had emailed a copy of the manual I scanned awhile back to Mike Butkus but I am not sure he posted it on his site. If you dont get you manual from paul, I can also email you my scans.
