I thought Ultrafine was (box speed) 100 or 400. No 200.

Well I through it in with my Pan F and it came out perfectly. I rated the Ultrafine at 100asa when I shot it. Looking at the negs they don't blow me away so I will not bother with this film again I think.

Based on the experience of a couple of good photographers I know, I bought some. Haven't used it yet.

But I think you may be giving up too soon. Although perhaps it just doesn't work well in Pyrocat.

I shoot Ultarfine 100 and 400 35mm and 120 as my walk around film, developed posted times less 20% for Unicolor drum with motor base in D 76 1:1 Rodinal,1:50or MCM 100 and get very good negatives. Don't use ProCat so cant speak to that. When traveling I use Foma 200 and 400 in 35mm, 120, and 4X5, but don't really see any difference between the Ultrafine and Foma negatives. If you bulk load Ultrafine in 100 foot rolls is a good price break.

Then stick with Pan F, it's a good film, just never the hang of it myself, maybe I'll give a whirl with MCM 100.
