Need a little help! Fuji X100 or Lumix

Hi all,
I have a friend who has a Fuji X100 and a Panasonic Lumix GF2 (a micro 4/3 camera) that's hardly been used with a 20 mm f 1.7 (equivalent to 40 mm) and a 14-45 mm zoom f 3.5-5.6 (28-90 equivalent plus a view finder. He's interested in selling one or the other to me. I am in the market for a street photography camera and something I can use for some basketball shots.
I've done my research and I'm leaning more towards the x100.
Basically because of styling. That Fuji looks so cool! I get more for my buck with the Lumix but that camera just doesn't have any style. It's a big lens on a box.
What do you all think?

You do know that there's a bunch of pretty nice glass out there for that micro 3/4 mount... Like this one:

I'd be all over the X100 for street shooting. Problem with some of the Lumix(and other m43s) is AF speed--an area where DSLRs still tend to do better for sports/action.The lack of a viewfinder is problematic for that sort of shooting. Know the X100 is fixed lens but Fujinon glass isn't exactly an embarrassment.

Beware, the AF on the x-100 is nothing to write home about either.. Lot's of people selling now to get the really improved x-100s instead...

After playing with one for a week last summer, I'd say "good enough," compared to the medium format stuff I shoot on the street. It takes some adjustment but delivers once you slow down. The dual VF and hi-ISO quality get no complaints from me. Quirky but lovable.

Well, I decided to go with the Fuji. I did lots of research on the web and talked to those who use both cameras. I like the idea of using a lighter camera for street photograph and some close up when my daughter's coach calls for a team huddle during basketball. I want to use one lens to make me work.
From what I read the Fuji can be a battery hog so I'll get extras and a fast 32g card.

These can help improve the handling of the X100. A friend has one for the X-Pro1 and loves it.

Thanks for sharing. I'll have to see what the camera comes with before I add something to it. I'm hoping it comes with extra batteries and a case and that lens shade. If not then I will be having a book sale soon!

Forgot to add the SD card. Never used one of these before? I was thinking a 16g card. That should give me plenty to play with. I hope!

The fuji x100 would be an excellent street camera. I've used mine that way and it is ideal. You can shoot with a camera hanging around your neck and take shots form waist level without even bringing the camera up to your eye if you want to minimize attention. The camera shutter can be set to no sound. As far as basketball pictures, the fuji x100 wouldn't be my first choice. The fixed focus lens would be too restrictive for me.
