I purchased a GX680 Ⅲ lately, and I keep searching for the Neck Strap for the third version of the GX680 as the camera body itself is too big to be accomodated in my backpack. I tried one for Mamiya MF cameras, but the hook easily slips out of the rug. And I can't put the Hasselblad neck strap hooks into the GX680 Ⅲ's strap rug.

I would appreciate it if anyone gives me a hint on how I can get the genuine neck strap or any info about the alternative neck strap for the GX680 Ⅲ. I am sure you already know that the neck strap for the Version 1 & 2 GX680 camera is not compatible with Version 3 GX680.

Thanks!

I might have one for the III - comes with a cradle that fits under the camera. I also have one for the I/II so am familiar with the two different ones.

The neck strap for the Ⅲ does not come with a cradle. That's for the Ⅰ/Ⅱ. Please refer to the last page of GX680 Ⅲ brochure.

Have you looked at the Peak Design Slide? The anchor design makes it easily adaptable to all your cameras. Don't know the difference in weight between a Pentax 67 and your GX680, but this strap easily handles my P67.

ah yes... thank you. I have an SK Grimes handle for the GX680III and I think that is what was confusing me.

If you are interested in the strap for the III then I am willing to sell mine - in very good condition as it looks like there is no wear on the chromed area where it would mount to the posts on the camera body.

Yes, I am interested in the genuine strap for the Ⅲ. Please let me know how I can buy it from you. From now on, let's talk via private emails so that no personal info needs to be leaked unconciously. Please reply to my email velchrome50@gmail.com.

Awaiting your reply,
Thanks!

I'd be afraid of breaking my neck if I tried to use that camera with a neck strap -

The neck strap is for moving to a location from the car park. It would take less than 30 minutes on foot. Thanks for your advice.

您好,请问您还有Fuji gX680iii的肩带吗?非常感谢您的回复。另外,我使用机器翻译,所以可能会有一些错误,但我相信你仍然可以理解我的意思。

Hello, do you still have the shoulder strap for Fuji gX680iii? Thank you very much for your reply. In addition, I use machine translation, so there may be some errors, but I believe you can still understand what I mean.

Oh, it seems that my browser plug-in translated the English that I had originally translated again. I have now turned off the plug-in and it should display English again.

Aside from using a strap around your neck, it would probably be helpful in just transporting the big and heavy contraption.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm looking for. If I only use a monopod, then its safety will be very low, so I want to add a shoulder strap to ensure that my machine will not fall.

BTW, I've thought about getting that camera myself, just because it's such a beast, plus those great front movements.

I don't actually recommend buying this camera. It's too bulky, and there are very few accessories available (people who have them don't want to sell them). The first and second generations use some accessories separately, and the third and third generations use another type of accessories (only the lens is universal among the three models). If you're not shooting commercial photography or doing large events, I suggest buying a portable SLR camera like the Pentax 645.

Among the important accessories, the first and second generation shutter cables can be used with the same model, while the third generation and third generation s use another shutter cable, and their film backs are incompatible, the situation is the same as mentioned above.

I use mine in a bag with a hand strap. When I take a picture I take it out. You don’t want this camera on your neck. Even my mamiya 6 is a little too much.

The gx680 is so heavy that I use a monopod to help me hold it (at the show, I need to move quickly). If you put it in your bag, you will miss the chance to capture the moment.
