1956 Leica M3 DS in fantastic condition. This is the smoothest M3 I’ve owned. It is in remarkable condition with just superficial marks from use. The camera functions perfectly, with a bright, clear viewfinder with accurate rangefinder, clean framelines, accurate shutter, smooth winding. The vulcanite is intact. The camera has a “L” seal, so it must have been serviced by Leica at some point.
Comes with a CameraWorks quick load spool installed. This makes loading this M3 like loading a later M camera - quick and easy. The original spool is included if you wish to change back. Also come with a period correct body cap, and leather case.
Asking $1550, includes fees and insured shipping, CONUS only.
1956 Leica Summicron 5cm f2 collapsible
I’ve owned three copies of this lens over the years, but this one is the sharpest copy I’ve had. It is great wide open.
In excellent cosmetic condition, just back from a cleaning by Yye Camera. Focus is super smooth, aperture ring nice and clicky, collapses and extends smoothly. Lens is clean and clear, as are the aperture blades. This lens shows the perfect amount of “LeicaGlow” at f2, and stopped down it is sharp as a tack.
Comes with original front cap, original hood, UV filter, aftermarket rear cap.
Asking $650, includes fees and CONUS shipping and insurance.
