I've never found them useful.

I've never even used one. They'd be pretty inconvenient if you don't have TTL metering.

I never use them, I just use different speeds. I have different backs on my RB67.

Buy one that has an index on the rim.


To the op,
They're just two polarizers attached to one ring. One linear, one not.
