I think this film has more latitude than Portra 400.
It's rated 1600, but I shot it from 50ISO to 1600ISO on the same roll without any issues.
The negatives are quite dense, so enlarging them will probably require a long exposure.
They scan fine and the colors and grain looks good to in my opinion.

Example at 100 ISO Dead Link Removed.

My experience with Portra 400 was different. I only got acceptable results between 200 - 800 ISO. Not that that's bad by any means, but I think Natura 1600 is one of a kind.

Hum. I have found it to be almost impossible to overexpose any C41 film within reason. I'm not sure that EI 50 for a 1600 film would fall into my definition of "within reason" but I've certainly seen excellent results from Portra 400 overexposed by two or three stops (50 - 100.) I would expect a 1600 film to be quite good down to at least 200 and maybe acceptable at 3200 so no surprise there.

+1 to what Roger said. Check out this page about Portra 400 latitude. Let's also not forget, that single use cameras allegedly use a simple ISO 800 emulsion and no exposure control.

I've overexposed Konica Centuria 100 in 120 quite badly, built density with little overexposure very fast. Ektar as well, though that took about 4 stops (Accidental).

So you're saying you only got acceptable results and not good results at 200 - 800 for Portra 400.. including 400?
