I have a National Photocolor One Shot 3x4 Camera (AKA Tri Color Camera) and am in need of an instruction manual for the camera. The camera is designed to take 3 in camera separations at the same time by using pellicle mirrors. I would like to get the camera operational and therefore in need of some information that appears to be scarce.

1. I am looking for an instruction manual or information so i can check the register or alignment of the pellicle mirrors.

2. The mirrors that are in the camera are at least 35 years old and may have had some deterioration or fading. I have heard that these mirrors are still available but have no idea who could provide.

3. I have 12 sets of 3x4 film holders for the camera but they are Folmer Graflex Plate Type II holders for glass plates. I would like to know if regular graflex 3x4 septums would work to convert these to film use.

I have checked the regular sources of antique manuals and photo sites onthe web but there does not seem to be much information on these camera that I can find.

If anyone can help me with this camera it would be greatly appreciated.

I have had this for over 20 years and it has just been sitting in it's case waiting to be refitted for use. I got it from a guy that was going out of business and had a 5x7 and 3x4 but didn't want to part with the bigger one. He used the 5x7 with glass plates and made dye transfer prints from the separations. The cost was $25 so I couldn't pass it up. I have seen the 5x7 models come up on Ebay in the past but you have to be particular in how you search for them - weather they are described as tri color cameras, one shots etc.

Since my first post I have been directed to a site for the mirrors so things are looking up

The National tri-color cameras were originally made by National Fotocolor. They no longer make the cameras, or repair them, but they still make pellicles.
