I found a mint (and I do mean mint) condition instruction manual for the National Graflex Series I and II camera (2 1/8x 2 1/2). It was tucked inside a "Little Technical Library" book entitled, The View Camera Made Simple.
If anyone has the above mentioned camera and would like the manual to go with it; just let me know where to send it, and it yours. And no charge for postage.
Hi,
I have a National Graflex 11 and it is a wonderful camera. The lens is suprisingly sharp and snappy. It is a great 2 1/4 "stealth" camera. The negative size is 2 1/4 x 2 1/2. If you can find one, there is a 140 mm f/ 6.3 that goes with it. The 140 only fit the 11 model; not the 1.
Happy Shooting,
Peter
I'm told that the National Graflex is a somewhat "dainty" camera and that the shutters are delicate. Would any owners care to inform me one way or the other? Thanks!
I've got to believe they are a little finicky. I have two - one works better than the other but they both have some issues. Anyone have a repair manual for it? Couldn't find one in any of the usual places.
Thanks,
Dan
PS - I know this is an old thread but it's what came up when I searched.
