Anyone see these bags in person? They look pretty good to me. The Khaki color is very nice in areas of extreme heat like the south. I can cook on my black bags in the summer!

They are a bit pricey though, I wish Lowepro would make a line of bags in Khaki, I would replace all of mine!

The N.G. bags cry out for attention with the N.G. logo.
My preference is the basic black or sand colored generic Domkes when I need to dress-up to shoot, military medic bags for every day, and depending on the neighborhood, diaper bags that also have an insulating quality. :>) [thank God]. <G>

Yeah I replaced a black F1x with a sand one and I love it, never got to hot like the black ones do. The Lowpro PhotoTrekkers gets hot in the sun, damn hot! Just think a sand Photo Trekker would be pretty nice.

About the military bags, I have often thought of an Alice pack but the logistics of packing and working out of a top loading bag is too much for me.

My first thought on seeing those was that I'd need a seam ripper to get rid of that logo patch.

I have one to carry the 6x17. Its a great bag, one of my faves. I sure didn't buy it for the logo. Its the feature I like the least.

I don't care for the logo but who cares? My Domke and Lowepro have their logo on there but I don't care.

I have been looking for a bag that was not black, simple enough I know, but hard to find.

Its not the NG logo per se, more the logo that says "expensive camera stuff"
the Lowepro and Domke bags say the same thing, and look like camera bags too boot.

Jason that is why nice padded diaper bags work so well. Use disposable diapers as wraps for your gear. If anyone saw you handling things, all they would see is a diaper wrapped up, and think they are not stealing that shit. Works well in bad neighborhoods. Especially if YOU had a pink flowery one.

Get a Billingham bag. Only other photogs would identify it as a camera bag.
