Am trying to remember the name of the fellow who had an exhibition of very large images of people with various animals; including elephants.

One image was a young man kneeling in front of an elephant head to head. Another some swimming with an elephants

It is not bill Brandt

Any clues?

Your welcome. I don't know why that out of the blue I remembered those images.

At one time I had his site booked marked but lost that in a computer crash

I realize that some folks find them "too romantic" but they bring tears to my heart
