It can't be an M4, they weren't making them in '65. So that leaves a black M3, black M2, or black MP which is a pretty rare camera.

I found that image with a google image search, went to a website and was able to zoom way in on the camera. In my opinion (although I have never used a Leica), I believe it is an M2. There are no raised frames around the windows on the front of the camera.
