Is that Fuji would make a half-frame film camera that could use its current X mount lenses! No chance, but one can dream, eh?

With a lot of luck, they will release a dedicated half-frame film

Those digital Fuji lenses probably were designed without the necessary distortion corrections. The digital camera and profiles do that now days.

A bigger issue is the location of the film plane. They’d have to be creative with the film transport.
