Hi,
I used to shoot 35mm. I recently got a pentax 67 6x7 shooter and a thing that stroke me is the darkness of the image I see trough the viewer. With the 35mm it was like looking trough glass. No tonedifference compared to my eyes. Now it is 2 grades shadier. I know this is normal for 6x7 format camera's but I shoot a lot of night stuff and it becomes kind of tough seeing things well.
Are there solutions for this?
I have a friend using the system, who had that issue with the pentaprism.
He got a waist level finder, later a brighter screen ( a Beattie I think).
I think, that issue was improved in the P67II!

if I have moey I'll go for the pentax 2 that's for sure.
But I read 'a brighter screan'. What's that about? can you buy a brighter screen? will that solve it, and is it expensive?
thanks!!
sam
when you are focusing you can open the aperture as wide as you can, that will let in a lot of light , once you have your suject in focus, then chose the right Fstop and exposure time and click.
Hmmm those intenscreens are expensive.... quess I have to wait a little.
The websiste sais one possible has to adjust the metering. How about that???? I indeed have a metered prism.
Thanks for telling.
(the aparture is always maximum, as far as I know...)
