so long story made short...the Tech Pan exposed at 8 ASA I thought I was processing for a friend turns out to be Ektagraphic HC slide film
I noticed AFTER developing it....luckily it came out fine, although it looked a bit odd: sort of brownish, no real blacks, no real clear areas either...I sent it back through the fixer & still looks brownish
I developed it in HC100 1:125 for 18 minutes agitation every 3 minutes

also...when viewed from the base side ( emulsion side away from you ) in bright light against a dark background I see a positive image....sort of a tintype effect
Anyway...does anyone have experience using Ektagraphic HC slide film for normal-ish contrast work? My friend was working with a model so I don't want insane contrast
I have HC110, D-76, D-19, and XTOL available
