Lens is in great condition, almost looks new [KEH EX] while the body has some scratches and wear, but it gives the camera character, and it gave me $100 discount from KEH vs the EX [Nikon F5: KEH BGN]

I love the speed of it!

Great buy! Wear is definately nothing to be ashamed of on a camera.

Enjoy it.

Jim, is that better than BGN lens, EX body? Any other tips/tricks for the F5? I love the AF on it.

This just makes me want an F5 or F6 more.

Why can't I just be content with my F100?

Get the F5! It's really not that expensive now!

Guys, the PC port is exposed. In rain, will this be a problem? I think it shouldn't, but you never know!

those damn caps are so easy to lose. i stopped searching my carpet for them several months ago. i'm sure they got sucked up by the vacuum cleaner.

You can find caps on eBay for about 5.00 for a set, flash and data. When I got my F5 and D1x both were missing the caps.

I just poured some water into and around the 10 pin socket and started shooting. It seems fine! The only thing that I don't like is my nose keeps hitting the AF spot changer and it changes the spot, and since it's black, I can't really see the af spot change. Is there a way to lock it?

Yeah, if you want to lock the AF selector, there is a lock button under that little flap - hold down the lock button and press the AF selector control and you'll see a little LOCK symbol come on the top LCD by the focus point display. Repeat to unlock.
