I don't know much about it, but from what I can tell from the images it looks good. I hope you enjoy it.:smile:

Thanks. It is like a new camera. I wil have it repaired this monday so I can't await the moment to put another film to this camera :smile:

Looks very 60's. I like the film ASA /film selector, Makes me wonder what speed its geared toward. Did you get the owners manual with it? Keep us posted, I, m anxious to see what you can do with it.

Rick

OK-- a quick peek at camerapedia, this is a rebadged Cosina HiLite HDL imported for the german market. That might help you get some more literature an doperating instructions. ENJOY!!

Rick

It is made in 1974 I think. I did not took the owners manual but i found it from this site: http://www.butkus.org/chinon/cosina.htm It is for the Cosina Hi-Lite DL but they are similar. I will post some images as soon as I can. Unfortunately I took them without the aid of light meter which was not working but I hope I made good estimate of the light condition :smile: I sent the camera for service(to fix the light meter) and I will have it ready at Monday

Yes, I was just there looking at that. I stand corrected, the dial around the rewind is only a film type reminder-very cool. Looks like a keeper to me. have fun with it.

Rick

As you know, Cosina made many cameras and lenses to a price point for many bigger name companies. Don't be surprised if this one is a pretty decent performer.

ok the camera is ready and the light meter seems to work properly :smile:

I don't know where to post my question so I post it here. Today I tried to take a picture outside in the dark and I couldn't see the needle of the light meter. Is there any solution/technique to solve this problem ;

You mean apart from taking shots in daylight? :D

I'm sure I saw a similar camera on a Norwegian photo website for sale recently.

PM me if you want the details.

Mike

The light meter works properly and the night but I can't see the needle(or with difficulty).

That's one of the drawbacks when using old cameras. Progress is not always bad...
