I hope you don't mind me sharing my Konicas with you all. My first one was from a estate sale, it was a Konica Auto S3 RF. I have cleaned it and replaced the seals and re-covered it in Burgundy lizard.
My next Konica was a Autoreflex T4 that I picked up a a thrift along with a Hexanon AR 65-135mm f4 zoom. I was able to find a Hexanon AR 40mm f1.8 on a junk FC-1 (couldn't save it) along with a Konica X-24. I also re-covered the T4 in a Brown composite leather.
Two beautiful Konicas. I like the new covers. The T4 is my favorite Konica. Here is mine with a Hexanon 55mm 3.5 Macro lens, It has been CLA and had the battery conversion done by Weber Camera. and is in L/N condition.
I currently have the T4 loaded with T-Max 100 for a test run. I am going to try developing my own B&W film so hopefully I will find out what the T4 can do! That is a very nice looking T4 you have there - what did it cost you for the battery conversion, if you don't mind my asking?
Thanks for the link. I have put Zinc air batteries in my T4 and checked the meter against some of my other cameras. It appears to be relatively accurate but, I won't really be able to tell until I get my test roll exposed.
The 50mm 1.4 needed some work so I sent it to Peterborough Camera (highly recommended) they had to order in a part. Very fast return and it looks and works like new. Takes beautiful images now.
