My Holyland Desert Images

When introducing myself I neglected to include links to my work (cf. “Newbie from Israel”, 11-05-08). My shoots take me to the Judean Desert and the Negev, both areas mentioned in the Bible. Here are the links:

The second link shows the Dead Sea under very unusual weather conditions. I didn't introduce the blue tint with an effects filter--never use ‘em. Rather, the proximity to water and a rare fog did the trick.

All images at these links were shot with my trusty OM4Ti on the original Fujichrome Velvia.

Nice work-please post more. My wife went to Isreal last year, but I have not been yet. I'm looking forward to the day I can come see for myself. I'm new here as well but already feel at home. Cheers.
