exhibition of my pictures opening May 4th in the Pergamon Museum, Berlin

I would like to announce that from Sunday, the 4th May, to June 22nd 20 photographic prints of mine will be shown in the Pergamon Museum here in Berlin.
The pictures are from my portfolio on mystical Islam (see my website), and are to be seen in the staircase leading up to the Museum of Islamic art from the department of the ancient orient.

Most of the prints are multiple gum prints of about 19x42". Should you make it to Berlin in this time, the Pergamon Museum is anyway well worth a visit, and you may also have a look at my pictures.

I hope I won't violate the forum rules if I announce here that from Sunday, the 4th May, to June 22nd 20 large format prints of mine, mostly multiple gum, will be shown in the Pergamon Museum here in Berlin.
I thought participants in this forum might be interested to see them if they make it to Berlin during this time. The Pergamon Museum is anyway well worth a visit, and you may also have a look at my pictures.
The prints are from my portfolio on mystical Islam (see my website), and are to be seen in the staircase leading up to the Museum of Islamic art from the department of the ancient orient.

Really cool! I've seen the pictures on your website and I wish I could go and see them in real life. Don't miss out, if you are able to go to Berlin.

Congratulations from me, too! What a venue for an exhibition. I'm sure not only I am interested in how you managed to secure that possibility. Can you talk a little bit about that without divulging "trade secrets"?

Wow.. that is a really 'big' museum to be exhibiting in... it's like germany's answer to the Metropolitan Museum in NYC...!

Cool! Unfortunately, I can't make it. Last time I was there was in 1986 and the bullet holes from WWII were still visible on the outside of the building (which in itself was interesting to me). Wish I could go back there.

Congratulations for having your work shown in such a prestigious avenue.

congratulations lukas. sounds like a very exciting exhibition. I would also be very interested to know how this opportunity presented itself.
I checked out your website and really enjoyed your work. I especially like your cyanotypes at night; they're beautiful and work exceptionally well as cyanotypes.

Thank you for the congratulations. Pictures are hanging since yesterday, and I was quite happy seeing them there.

As for the opportunity, I just went there and asked, bringing with me a few examples of my prints (nearly all of the prints exhibited now, however, I made specially for this occasion). My images engage themselves, as I stated, with a Muslim context, and I had seen before that the Museum of Islamic art inside the Pergamon Museum had changing photographic exhibitions in the starcase moving up to it from the department of the ancient orient. So I thought to give it a try.
