I feel I've got my exposure, contrast and processing under control but this print has objectionable brush strokes. I plan to look into rod-coating. This is from a 4x5 negative shot wide open with a 300mm Caltar lens.

Very nice portrait, except for the brush stripes. Coating the paper is something to get used to. Maybe you didn't use enough liquid while coating or need to brush more into all directions. Or (when dried) apply a second layer of coating?

The Kallitype is a beautiful process, isn't it?
