Hi,

As the title says... Actually they were branded Argenti PAN-X 100 and R09 Studio, resp., and were quite cheap too (two 36-rolls + barely enough developer, all for about 7 euros).

I shot both rolls and deveped them with a 1+15 dilution, for 4 mins at 20 degree. I find the results quite ok and will likely use them together again. Below are some examples...

Cheers

I like them too. Nice, clean, and sharp. Not at all grainy. I take it that this is not the usual R09/Rodinal/Adonal variety (which I think goes by the name of One Shot now)?

I guess this all is about "R09 Spezial" which is the same as Agfa Studional (which under a different name is still made (or was made untill recently) by Agfa.

Which is a PQ developer?

The Agfa 100 is the old made in Ge or the new made in EU?

This is otherwise alphabet soup note a normal expression...

-) Yes, Agfa Studional is of the PQ-type

-) Argenti PAN-X 100 is on the market for some years. Thus likely it is still the true (Agfa-made) APX.

Not sure if I am allow by forum rules to post a link to the seller... but I can surely copy/paste the description (Spanish though) of "their" R09 Studio, the one I have used for these photos:

"STUDIO Liquid es una moderna formulación basada en el clásico revelador AGFA Studional Liquid/Rodinal Spezial. Rinde negativos con excelente nitidez, grano fino y buen aprovechamiento de la sensibilidad nominal de la emulsión junto con un índice de contraste constante. Large vida útil con buena resistencia a la oxidación. Dilución estandar: 1+15 y también se puede utilizar a 1+7 y 1+31 para modificar el contraste."

So... it's equivalent to the Studional Liquid/Rodinal Spezial, indeed.
