Couldn't have been taken in 1956 I think (the external shading devices probably were very very uncommon and aluminium windows probably not in existence). You could have photoshopped it as 1996 though

Very nice composition indeed, which is what matters

Nice shot, and congrats on getting it picked up in the ad industry blog, but I thought 1956 was the address, not the year it was built. Is it?

The blogger who used this image wrote:

Film, B&W and 1956 matched as an association of ideas, just the architectural style didn't fit, that's all.

Hence my (admittedly superfluous) comment.
