I was having a very productive day today shooting with my Mamiya RZ67 and with my D*****l camera.
Right at the end of the day I was taking a quick shoot with the 'other' camera and stood the mamiya on it's tripod to one side. I was standing on a bit of a slope and suddenly heard a sickening crash. The tripod was off balance sufficiently that after a couple of minutes it fell over.
The camera landed on the side with the film winder lever. This was knocked inward and has put a dent into the side casing which has cracked. The level has bent but still working. The only thing that seems to be broken is that I canot move the switch on the side to the 'M' position so I cannot take multiple exposures. It will still move to the 'R' position so I can still rotate the back which is a major relief.
There are no marks or other damage to the lens which is an even bigger relief.
So, now my pulse has slowed, does anybody have any idea where I can source the service manual. I like to open the cracked side casing (replace if possible) and repair the little switch so that it's all as good as new.
Thanks,
Tim
