My Cat Is Still Alive

We are lucky it was not Schroedinger's cat! Then everything would have been uncertain......

PE

Maybe the cat did die but we don't know it because it's still alive...

I collapse his wavefunction daily.

So did I when I lived on the coast, if his wavefunction looks anything like an umbrella.

Ever notice the British Royal's wavefunction? Mechanical.

HEY - why don't you guys that this physics banter to the "Deleted" thread! Let's get back to important stuff - like cats!

If the discussion is about cats and physics shouldn't we be playing around with string theory?

After years of visiting the forum i didn't think i would have to apologize for my first post, but who knew ! Sadly this is all i have had to contribute! (yes, I've been meaning to subscribe) Much learned though. Thanks!

sorry for being off topic, but on topic with the tangent of cats and physics ... I like to write poetry about obscure things on a whim .. so in the spirit of monty python (rene' descarte was a drunken old ...) ...

...I present the similarity between physicists and cats. please excuse lack of meter, spelling, etc.

niels bohr? They had to give him what-for
to get him off the kitchen table.
Faraday would catch two mice a day
and three if he was able

Issac Newton was not fond of gluton
but he sure loved tuna fish.
he could always tell when something fell
miles away in his supper dish

Cleaning Einsteins hair was real nightmare,
he'd cough up a big fur ball.
Doin his best in a gravity test-
landed feet-first when he'd fall.

max planck created quite a stanck,
when he used his kitty litter.
yes thats right, it was quite a sight
he didnt have a propper sh..ter.

ok. that's my second, and perhaps last post as i have explained all i know of physics, cats and photography Thanks

I sure there's more where that came from! How about say, Heisenberg? And you can't leave out Schroedinger!

And don't worry about being off topic-the cat didn't die, so it did.

The topic, that is.
