Stumbled across one of these while digging through my father in law's house. Still has film in it. The numbers in the window say K40. Seems sturdy enough. Anyone know anything about it?

Based on what little I can find, the camera appears to be probably a fairly standard, inexpensive super 8 camera. It might be fun to shoot with, but don't expect a whole lot. K40 is Kodachrome! K40 used to be -the- film to use in Super 8 (until it was discontinued). You can check if the the entire cartridge is exposed by pulling it out and looking the in end. If the film is stamped 'exposed', the entire cart is exposed, and you can send it off for processing. If not, you've only fogged maybe a few inches, and can put it back in the camera, and keep shooting. Just in case you aren't aware, Kodachrome processing ends 12-10, so send it off soon! IIRC, Dwayne's also does transfers to DVD.
