these Agfa or Adox papers say planned. I have been asking Mirko for three years now about his paper in mural size to no avail.
Are these long rolls actually available?
I need fibre paper.

Bob, Agfa offers their new multicontrast PE-paper in glossy in 100feet rolls up to 28" wide, in semi matt up 36" wide.
Currently I have tested Ilford Warmtone and Ilford Coldtone matte.
I like both.
I've been using Ilford MGIV fiber matte finish. It falls between the cold tone & warm tone you've tried.
Is there any other paper that you could suggest that is available currently and probably over the next 5-10 years that is in roll with 100ft x 30 or 42 or 50 as well as smaller cut sheet sizing that you could suggest.
I've been using Ilford MGIV fiber matte finish. It falls between the cold tone & warm tone you've tried. Tones well, and will probably be around as long as any other paper. I roll process the paper, and like this one because it's double weight seems a bit sturdier than other double weights I've tried, if that makes any sense. I trust Ilford to be around as long as anyone and, like you, want a paper I can make a long term commitment to.
As an aside, but does anyone know if there's an industry standard for what constitutes double weight? My experience seems to be that it's an arbitrary designation by the manufacturers.
What Ilford "Coldtone" paper are you both referring too? According to the Ilford Photo website, they only carry fibre based papers in the Ilford MGIV (glossy and matte) and Ilford MGFB Warmtone (glossy and semi-matte) variant, no paper specifically designated as "Coldtone"?? There is only an RC variant specifically marketed as "Cooltone"...
Or are you both referring to Ilford MGIV fibre glossy finish paper (the most common sold as far as I can tell) as the "Coldtone" variant?
Well, since you are already using Ilford papers, why not try the Kentmere Fineprint VC Glossy paper also produced by Harman? It is not listed as available in rolls, but since it is the same company, they might be able to deliver it...
In addition, the FOMA papers seem to come in rolls. I haven't tried them, but according to all I read here on APUG, they should be excellent as well, and it is still on my list of "things-to-try-out" to get some. In addition, FOMA is AFAK the only manufacturer currently producing a paper variant on a very warm "chamois" paper base:

I agree with the other people, I also believe that Ilford will probably hang around longest (I love there products) but Adox is a really really good paper also, and a bit cheaper.
Roles are available, you can order here:

2-3 days they say and its a fiber based paper
cheers
The Fotoimpex site clearly states "barytared paper base" and "30m roll".
It has been stated here some time ago that the current Agfa paper has the same emulsion as the Adox MCP RC.
And I assume that at least the first large batch coating of the Adox paper was done at Agfa.
(Unless Mirko should object against this.)
The Agfa paper is offered in a wider roll.
The Adox emulsion has been made new and thus the Agfa one.
Or the other way round...
(It would be fine if you would accept PM's...)
