Multiple exposures Mamiya TLR?

Can anyone tell me how to make a multiple exposure with a Mamiya C33? There's a knurled button that offers a choice between roll film and sheet film/multiple exposures but I don't know how to reset the shutter without advancing the film. Oh! Maybe just wind back? I should go try iy now!

I don't know on much about the C33. I have a C330S, which has a single/multiple selector by the crank. If the C33 lacks this feature, you should be able to wind and fire the lens shutter with your fingers, bypassing camera control.

Any Mamiya lens shutter can be cocked manually, on or off the camera. In fact, C220's and earlier "C3's" (IIRC) don't cock the shutter when the film is advanced, it has to be done separately.

On my C220, I can cock the shutter (without advancing the film), but I still have to move the "button" to multiple to fire. It's probably very similar on your camera.

The Single / Multi control just disengages the shuter interlock. You cock the shutter for the second and subsequent exposures by hand.

If you have the camera well-secured you can also trip the shutter directly without using the Multi setting to allow the use of the body shutter release.

That's what I tried this morning when the backwinding thing didn't work. I think I have an awesome multiple image of my rear tire in the parking lot at work. And a couple of puzzled co-workers. I wish I had time to find out what I have. What I know I have is a whole new set of possibilities!
