Multigrade 500 Repair

Recently i bought a devere 504 with ilford multigrade Head transformer and control unit.

however the Multigrade unit is non working does anyone know of anywhere capable of repairing this (preferably in the north east), I beleive the fault to be in the Transformer as one of the sides is off however the seller had no knowledge other then it was non working.

If it is the power unit this can usually be repaired by a competent electrician.

I have the user manual and electrical wiring diagrams in PDF and also a RTF file from an earlier thread where someone converted a power unit made for the US market so that it would function in Europe.

It should be repairable, I managed to fix one a while back. A bad capacitor drawing down one voltage. The brackets holding the end panels are fragile, they break easy. The electronics are on the right hand end panel. There are several versions of the supply - at least 3 I know of plus 120 / 220 versions. Unless the transformer is burned to a crisp a good electronics tech should be able to fix it.

thats great to here it should be repairable by a decent electrician
