Multi FLash with Bronica SQ-A and Vivitar 285

Hey Guys,

Just wondering how many of you use a multi flash setup on your bronicas and what you use for triggering. i crrently have a vivitar 285 flash with a long pc lead to connect it to my camera. im thinking of getting another 285 and some wireless triggers to fire them. what do you reckon?

I reckon that is a workable solution... and even better if you have a flash meter.

I use VIvtars 283's with one fired by a PC cord to camera and the other two by slaves units.Works fine

interesting, never thought of using slaves. was thinking of just wireless triggering the lot!

I use these little Peanut slaves with my 285's:

They will plug directly into the cable socket (with no cable) on the 285's hotshoe provided that it's the original shoe and not an aftermarket replacement. I trigger one or two of them with a third 285 connected to the camera by a cable.

how do the yong nuo trigger sfare? i take it you attach a trigger to your camera and then a receiver to each flash?

I too would just use an optical trigger on the second flash.

all depends - I use Cactus triggers to fire the first flash and then the optical slaves to fire the others, but that is with a studio strobe setup.

If I was to fire flashes that don't have optical slaves, I'd just use more cactus receivers.
