Great choice of theme. One might say a "Hunky Dory" theme
I will or have done my thing with Sticky Threads and updating the historical list of themes.
Added a small tweak to the usual opening material, along with quotation marks to the thread title as well, because we have been doing that for a while.
And in continuation of the pun above, the first thing I thought of when I saw the theme was actually a musical reference!
Disregard
This is an old one from fifty-two years ago but I couldn't resist re the topic. : ) It's my wife and son.

I want to get a Holga now.Old. Wandering around my neighbourhood in Japan with my Holga and a roll of HP5. My neighbourhood changed dramatically, in just a few years...

Old one (well, a couple of weeks old anyway). HP5+ shot on a Leica M2 with a 35mm Summicron lens. Developed in HC-110.
An old one - depicting urban changes:
Hasselblad 501C and 80mm lens. Kentmere 100 rated at EI 64. Developed in Barry Thornton's D-23 with 20 grams per liter of metaborate for 4 minutes and 15 seconds at 70.7F/21.5C in both bath A and B. Kentmere VC Select Glossy paper developed in homebrew D-72 (Dektol) 1:3 in my old Cibachrome tube. Didn't feel like getting out the trays for only a few prints. I didn't order glossy paper, ordered lustre, but I have to admit I like this glossy paper very much. Again, from my crappy scanner to the net, lol.
This set is about places that are no more. More businesses will sadly be ending. In fact I did post an image of the Haymarket Coffee House in the "Beauty of Decay" assignment. That image actually belongs here but I didn't want to repost an image.

I am a little dismayed. The other day my film got ruined in my Rolleicord. I was reading about a technique on film loading and was thinking that maybe it would have helped with the overlap issue that I have on the first two frames. Sadly it did nothing and the whole length of the film ended up with a crapload of lines, like scratches. From a post, not from here, and also from a short video clip stated that any Rolleicord below a version 4 you need to thread the film under the bottom roller. I have a type 3. I thought I had come across some new wisdom, thinking I had been loading film all wrong the whole time I have had this camera. DO NOT LOAD FILM THIS WAY! You will regret it, big time. The first assignment roll got ruined and I am not looking forward to developing my next roll of Kodak Gold 200 which was sort of important. My first assignment roll had one image in particular that I hopefully will be able to redo. Lesson learned.

RIP Mimmo's et al. Northampton has changed so much since I was a kid.
Interesting progression. The x-ray film has me interested. This is old series, from 2011 and 2023. It's small because the content could be unpleasant for some people, it's a deer that died. Click to enlarge.
