Thanks for selecting my image for the MSA September "CHANGES". I have selected "PLEASE BE SEATED" for October. Any image related to seats or sitting is okay. It could be with people, animals, or objects, etc. Some examples to get you thinking.

Very interesting @jeffreyg - I'll apply my usual efforts respecting Sticky Threads and the list of themes to date - I've also tweaked very slightly the thread title, for stylistic consistency.
And in the spirit of contribution, an oft-shared old image, from an old MSA.

This is the first of my street furniture genre. It's from about 13-14 years ago. Tri-X, Nikon F5, 50mm f1.8 AF-D

Photo taken in 2019. The print was made some time between then and now and the toning was done less than a month ago.

Two more - old category

Grote Sint Laurenskerk Alkmaar -
Listening to the larger organ at the west end of the church - one of the most famous, significant and beautiful organs in the world.
It was built by Jacobus Caltus van Hagerbeer, finished in 1645.

macfred, that church with the organ picture has an interesting lighting effect. The highlight on the floor, which comes in two directions, looks a bit like a cross. I'm not sure if this was intentional. regardless it is attention grabbing.

I didn't know about this church and it's organ(s) but a quick search and a plethora of information is available. I now know that it is no longer a church and is used for secular work and a fun fact for me was to note that the builder of the organ by someone named, "van Hagerbeer," which is now opposite to an internal bar, may have mixed ideas of the potential for mirth with this situation.

I can imagine some visitors deciding to check out van Hagerbeer's organ, while quietly sipping on a lagerbeer in the bar at the other end of the church.

Great picture, by the way.

macfred, the tables and chairs alongside the water is really striking, a perfect capture of the whole area.

I wonder why the back of the chair closest to the camera only has a single black marker on the rear, all the others have a "T" on the rear?

XP2 has worked it's usual magic charm.
