MSA O/N - October 2023 - "Leaves"

So, fairly straightforward, but I appreciate word-play. So, this month's theme is Leaves -- like:



or


or colourful leaves or whatever. But since it also has a different meaning:


which was taken at an airport - which everyone leaves.

So stretch it as much as you want.

Looking out the window right now - this should be a good year for the theme.

Not eligible ... as at a later date we scanned and edited it quite a bit in Photoshop, ... but nonetheless wanted to share it

Very old one, from Oct 2009, before we learned how to develop, scan and print our own images
Cropped, edited and lightly sharpened later in 2018 ;-)

New - shot yesterday, print today. Pile of Leaves. This is a lith print on Kodak Polycontrast Rapid RC expired sometime before there were cable news networks.



My scan doesn't replicate the tone very well.

But as noted time does not seem to hurt the usability of the Kodak Polycontrast Rapid RC. Nice print.
 
Cacti from the succulent family, the spines are extreme versions of leaves.

Shen Hao HZX45-IIA Ilford FP4+ Fujinon f/6.3 250mm lens. No filter, 11mm front fall 1/8 at f/22. Taken at what is possibly Australia's best Cacti Farm, located in Lightening Ridge.

 
Photographed this morning. So far, autumn colors are looking muted and dry.
 
We are halfway through the month. Let's get some more photos posted.

Small Maple Leaf
new - today - printed today. Shot on moldy Kodak Commercial 4x5 using a Polaroid MP4, lith printed on Agfa paper 11x14
