Hello, the theme of the December 2022 Monthly Shooting Assignment is Iron, in any form you like. Is it a steel structure, a mundane everyday item, or anything made of iron that you found interesting? It only has to be significant in the photograph that you'll post. So, here are two examples:

Here’s an old one from April 2016. This was shot on T-Max 400 with my Reality So Subtle 6x17 pinhole camera at Fort Point San Francisco.

And a more current one from August this summer. This was shot with my Nikon F80 and Nikkor AF 85mm f1.4D on Legacy Pro 100.

Vuurduin is a lighthouse on the Dutch island Vlieland. The tower was made from cast iron - captured in summer 2022.

Beat and abused. It takes some serious iron to survive a lifetime in an underground mine.

Love this shippart shots! Mine was taken in Kinderdijk, IHC shipyards near de Kinderdijk Mills.
