The theme for MSA May / June 2018 is ''Public art''
Public art
is art in any media that has been planned and executed with the intention of being staged in the physical public domain, usually outside and accessible to all.
---
A few examples for Public art (and there are many more ...) :

statues and statuettes; monuments; figurines; equestrian statues; colossal statues; sculpture trails; decorative fountains; Art-in-Architecture; Environmental Public Art (guerilla gardening; …); Land Art; landscaping; Religious Public Art;
light show installations; Interactive Public Art (instruments which the public can play; walk-in art works; …); Public art for political ends and propaganda; graffiti; murals; road surface paintings; …

I'm quite sure you will find many more …
Keep them coming !

Good idea macfred - it should be a fun challenge.
I've done my magic with making this new thread a "sticky" and making the old thread "normal".
And the list of themes has been updated accordingly.
And by the way, your English is fine!
Just a reminder - submissions should originate in an analogue medium and meet the analogue upload conditions of that part of Photrio. And new work is required - May 1, 2018 "capture" or later.

Great! I already have some images that fit this theme and my developer arrived this morning from Germany, so hopefully I can have them scanned and uploaded soon!

I spent the afternoon at a perfect spot for this, but hadn’t yet seen the topic.

Oh well, there will be other opportunities.

Just for fun, and don't know if this is eligible, because of the film used, but we had a lot of fun getting this all together.
A very crazy creative process, using 800 asa Fugi Instax Wide Film, shot in a spring back, 1946 Anniversary Speed Graphic 3x4, with a135mm lens f 32@125.
A 3x4 film holder is not large enough to hold the Instax wide, so we ended up using a 9x12 Kodak film holder, which is the same width as a 3x4 film holder, and fits into the spring back. But an adaption of a foam seal is needed to keep the film holder light tight when the dark slide is pulled out, and is attached to the camera, and seals the front edge of the film holder. The reason is the 9x12 steel thin film holders do not have the wooden 'Rib' to make the dark side end light tight, that are on the 3x4 film holders.
BTW.. Dark slide is not taken out completely, just slid out enough to expose.
Location uptown Sedona. Part of two items, to the left about 10 feet away is the horse of the cowboy looking on... will try to get a shot of both together on 'normal' film

Image was scanned, nothing done to it and it's a little underexposed. After all the tests at the house it was the first real shot taken with this method, and don't really know this film yet.

Reference to post #14...
Location uptown Sedona. showing both of the two sculptured items, the horse looking on... as its cowboy dances. Perhaps wondering, .. will he ever return?
Had to be shot early, before the uptown area opened...to miss the distractions of the walking crowds and traffic.

Yep... well ya never know, but as a story could go, he was late for the dance, as the herd had stampeded in a cloud of dust and had to be rounded up again. And there she sat, sad and all alone, thinking she had been set up for a date that did not appear.
Then a gallup of a horse was heard, she stood up, and suddenly as the band played on, he arrived, ... jumped off the horse, and caught her up in his arms and they danced on to this day.

Now a question back, ... Do we get extra points for an image line? ...
:D
