We are now living in a modern world with advanced technologies, useful facilities and equipment. People flock to cities, urban areas, and on the other side, nature was left behind with many problems due to us. So let's start this MSA with a very broad theme, nature.
If it's your first time participating in MSA, you should have a look at some guidelines here.
https://www.photrio.com/forum/threa...gnment-msa-guidelines-revised-2015-07.126124/
Entries should be analog photos taken during the MSA period: 1 July to 30 August. Entries can be posted in the MSA gallery or in this thread or both.
I hope you'll enjoy this theme and look forward to see your submissions, feel free to post as many as possible.

A great idea for the theme, vodanh.
I've changed your thread title slightly, tagged it as a "Sticky" thread and will add the theme to the thread that lists all the themes over the years.

And to get things going, here is an image that isn't eligible, because it was photographed in May this year:

Thank Matt. This image is also not eligible, certainly, just to add some acceleration to this MSA.This is a waterfall in Khao Yai National Park, Thailand, taken last summer.

Nice image! I was there a few years ago and photographed it myself.

I hope to get a few (eligible) images in this round before I leave for my holidays in mid-August, assuming it doesn't get so hot as to make film developing problematic (tap water runs pretty hot this time of year).

Was walking along the river today looking for some macro subjects in the nature, there was some wind. I saw this little feather and shoot it with my Pentax LX and 50 mm macro at 1/2000 - f 2.8 by hand, Kodak TMX 100, dev, HC 110 dill B 6,5 min.

oh Bertus, .. Awesome!
Where like a feather in the wind, caught to be contained and held within.

Great details Bertus. The feather seemed lively. Hope to see more from you.

It is actually blue - a consequence of the light being mostly open sky lighting, filtered through the leaves of the trees.
I can (and have) experimented with adjusting the colour to take out the blue, but it leaves the result boring and unnatural.
It also suffers from all the contortions necessary to display it here.
As a transparency, it looks like things do when you find them on the floor of the forest - which is what I strive to do.

The rare film photographer, found in his "natural" habitat.
From the same session as my earlier Ektachrome transparency, but this time on T-Max 400.

I shot some film yesterday specifically for this assignment, but alas, there is no more time for me to develop (and scan) the film before I leave Japan tomorrow morning. I've really enjoyed the images this round however.

One more week to go, and I'm waiting for more submissions from Photrio members

This photo was taken with Minolta X-700 and 18 years expired Agfa HDC 100, shoot at ISO 20.

We have nearly reached the end of the month, and I have been madly preparing and uploading some submissions - see the Monthly Shooting Assignment gallery here: https://www.photrio.com/forum/media/categories/monthly-shooting-assignment.8/
I have at least one more to upload - I'll add it/them to the thread instead.
vodanh hasn't posted yet about the end of the submission period - I'll send him a message - but unless he extends the submission period (which he is welcome to do if he wishes, given that this is a long weekend in many areas), it would be best to assume that you have just over three hours left to add more images.

Here is another image from me, which I've titled "Nature Encroaching #2 - MSA - "Nature".
It shows another abandoned roadway in the North 40 park, and the rather energetic blackberry and other vines as Nature strives to take the area back.

And here is a better version of "North 40 Sentry #1", which is too dark in the gallery upload:
